Founded in 2018 by Kelly Tran, SAKA Doll is a handcrafted luxury doll brand inspired by the artistry of pageantry and the beauty of storytelling. Each creation reflects a deep passion for both dolls and the elegance of the pageant world.
At the heart of SAKA Doll are resin Ball-Jointed Dolls (BJD)—meticulously designed with articulated joints that allow for graceful, lifelike posing. Every piece is the result of dedication and craftsmanship. Kelly spent months mastering the intricate process of sculpting, molding, and resin casting—teaching herself each step through patience, creativity, and perseverance. With the support of her husband, she successfully brought her first BJD to life, marking the beginning of the SAKA journey.
Each doll is entirely handmade—from sculpted features to carefully sewn garments and custom wigs—ensuring every piece is unique and crafted with intention. SAKA Doll reimagines the traditional doll by transforming it into a modern pageant-inspired work of art, celebrating confidence, elegance, and individuality.

Every SAKA Doll begins as a vision—an idea delicately sketched onto paper, where artistry meets intention. This initial blueprint defines her form, her proportions, and the essence of who she will become.
From sketch to sculpture, each doll is brought to life by hand using premium La Doll clay. Every curve, every feature is carefully shaped with precision and patience, transforming raw material into a refined work of art.
Once perfected, the sculpt is preserved through a meticulous molding process. Resin is then expertly mixed and cast, capturing every intricate detail. Each piece is allowed to cure fully before being gently refined and polished to achieve a flawless finish.
She is then assembled with precision—strung and balanced to allow graceful, lifelike movement. Every joint is tested to ensure she moves with elegance and poise.
The true transformation begins in the artistry. Each doll is hand-painted with delicate layers, giving her a unique expression and soul. Her eyes, crafted from high-quality resin, are individually painted to reflect depth and beauty, while soft mink eyelashes add a touch of realism and luxury.
To complete her look, custom wig caps and handcrafted wigs are created using high-temperature fibers, styled to embody her individuality and grace.
